The labour administrations of the EU member states play an important role in the implementation of the European Employment Strategy launched by the European Commission. For that reason, the German Federal Employment Agency has opened its own European representation. The office in Brussels provides direct contact to all relevant European institutions and works as a link between the European Commission and the political interests of the Federal Employment Agency.

The Capital Representation of the Federal Employment Agency in Berlin supports the head office in its cooperation with ministries and the Bundestag in Berlin.
