German employers are looking for computer scientists

ZAV is the international department of Germany’s Federal Employment Agency and member of EURES (European Employment Services) - the European cooperation network of employment services, designed to facilitate free movement of workers within the EU.

We offer consultation and job placement for candidates from abroad assisting them along their professional path to Germany. Citizens of the EU may also receive financial support to foster their integration to Germany (i.e. refund for travelling costs to job interviews, language courses and relocation).

Together with EURES Cyprus, the University of Cyprus and the European University Cyprus, we established a mobility project for young computer scientists who would like to gain some first work experience abroad or who would like to take on a permanent position in Germany.

Thanks to this newly established cooperation you - as a student of Cyprus’ universities - are granted exclusive access to our project employers, who are searching for you as (Erasmus) intern, junior or senior staff. Job offers range from working in a start-up to working in a well-established mid-size company in various fields of business. The employers are located in different regions in Germany. Some are based in picturesque small-towns in Baden-Württemberg, others in the historic yet vibrant city of Dresden in Saxony or Potsdam near Germany’s capital Berlin. Gross salaries range from approx. EUR 35.000 gross to EUR 55.000 for junior positions – depending on the respective position.
