The partnership includes the licencing, provision and operation of the complex SAP system landscape in the KRITIS environment. By using RISE with SAP, the Federal Employment Agency is relying on a private cloud provided by a German data centre, the sovereign cloud capability of which guarantees compliance with the strictest data protection and compliance regulations. Sensitive data is stored and processed exclusively in Germany.
The outsourcing of operations to the SAP experts will also give the Federal Employment Agency access to integrated consulting services for the seamless cloud transformation of its core systems. This will ensure a significant increase in the resilience of the SAP infrastructure of the Federal Employment Agency while maintaining the highest standards of security in modern EU data centres. The new contract offers the Federal Employment Agency full cost transparency and will facilitate the rapid integration of product innovations, especially in the fields of generative AI and sustainability.
