New subsidy check for companies launched

Starting today, employers can use the new online tool to find out with just a few clicks whether they may be eligible for a supportive subsidy – for example for new hires or for staff already employed.

The Federal Employment Agency can support companies with a wide range of funding instruments as part of their personnel planning – for example with the wage subsidy, assisted vocational training or an entry‑level or employee qualification. However, not all companies are sufficiently aware of the funding opportunities available to them. The subsidy check allows employers to easily find out about relevant subsidy offers – such as for hiring, training, or continuing education for employees – digitally. The tool guides users through a few questions and then provides an initial assessment of potentially suitable funding instruments.

With the subsidy check, the Federal Employment Agency is supplementing its existing information offering on the topic of "subsidies." The tool is aimed at companies of all sizes and industries. “It provides a good introduction and helps to identify potential funding instruments at an early stage – simply, quickly, and clearly. This allows us to create transparency and help companies tap into potential, attract skilled workers, and secure long-term employment," says Daniel Terzenbach, Member of the Executive Board of the Federal Employment Agency responsible for regional affairs. Employers can then contact their local employer service at the employment agency directly for individual advice.

With the new subsidy check, the Federal Employment Agency offers all companies quick and easy access to information that was previously only available to large companies.
The subsidy check is particularly helpful when hiring people who need additional support.

The subsidy check for companies from the Federal Employment Agency is now available online (available in German).
