The support services can be found on the EURES portal under the category Living and working conditions. There, you can find out, for example, which authorities in Sweden are responsible for recognizing disabilities or how people with disabilities are supported. It also explains what support employers receive when they hire people with disabilities. In addition, you will find contact details for the most important points of contact and information about everyday life, such as discounts for public transportation. The platform offers similar information packages for all countries in the European Union, as well as for Iceland and Switzerland.
"As the Federal Employment Agency, inclusion is at the heart of our mission," says Vanessa Ahuja, Executive Board Member for International Affairs at the Federal Employment Agency. We support people in shaping their own career paths and building a self-determined working life. This also includes the opportunity to work abroad."
The project is a collaboration between the Federal Employment Agency and the European Labor Authority (ELA), with the participation of employment services across Europe. The information has been available since Friday, December 12, on the EURES platform in German, English, French, and the respective national language.
