Fake malware emails being sent to employers

The Federal Employment Agency (BA) would like to warn employers about fraudulent emails that are currently in circulation.

18 May 2020 | Press release no.30

The emails contain supposed offers from the BA job board. The sender does not provide a phone number for enquiries.

The emails are not being sent by the BA. The sender is fraudulently using the BA’s email signature, and the subject line contains a reference to old vacancies posted by the contacted employers on the BA job board.

Employers should not reply to such emails or click on the blue link under any circumstances, as this might install malware on your computer. Any such emails should be immediately deleted.
