Print Operator (m/w/d)

Sport Signage is a global company in the event and sports branding industry.

We are expanding our great team! We are seeking for a dedicated Print Operator (m/f/d) for our event operations in motorsport worldwide. Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Print Operator, you will play an important role in our team at various event locations. Your main tasks include:

• Responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of our on-site printers to produce high-quality printing materials
• Monitoring the ongoing printing process for color accuracy, sharpness and defects
• Preparing print files and coordinate orders with our international partner printhouses (as support to our inhouse printing)
• partly coordinating with our client and our design department (for example to exchange artwork)
• image editing/creating print-ready files in illustrator, then also actual printing (Caldera Software, HP Latex 365 printers)
• Cutting stickers as support tot he installation crew
• exchanging vinyl roles, color checking/matching of our own prints and external orders

• Collaborating with project managers to meet specifications
• Troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues 
• Adhere to industry standard safety practices. Operate all tool and equipment according to specified safety requirements.
• Help unload and store materials and tools; clean and maintain storage areas

Requirements:

• adobe illustrator skills and ideally experience with Caldera are required
• Experience as a media technologist or have comparable technical experience in digital printing 
• Strong technical understanding, a keen eye for color and detail, and proficiency in graphic design software
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of an international team
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volumne, high quality work
• Willingness to shadow experienced printers to gain practical knowledge and skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for international projects
• English skills are required
