SeeZeit – German-Mediterranean restaurant in Plön 

Plön is known as the ‘Jewel of Holstein Switzerland’ and is situated on the beautiful Lake Plön. Attractive places to visit include the charming old town, a castle visible from afar, Prinzeninsel (Prince’s Island) and the promenade. And the state capital, Kiel, is only around 30 minutes away.

At our new restaurant, SeeZeit, up to 100 guests can not only enjoy our German-Mediterranean cuisine in a cosy atmosphere, but also hire an additional room for special occasions. Whether it’s a birthday, family celebration, corporate event or other occasion – we offer a separate, inviting area that can accommodate groups of various sizes. This ensures that every celebration with us is a relaxed and successful experience.

We are looking for a reliable kitchen and service staff members (m/f/d) with professional experience. The position is initially planned on a part-time basis. There is the prospect of a long-term full-time role in the future.

Your tasks

• Assisting with the preparation of food and drinks
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen facilities and equipment
• Adherence to hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
• Team-oriented collaboration with other kitchen staff
  or
• Providing service and advice to our national and international guests
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks

What you bring to the role

• Experience
• Knowledge of English, ideally also good knowledge of German
• Ability to work well in a team
• Reliability, even in busy situations
