The NATO Headquarters Allied Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) in Ulm is part of one of the world's most important security alliances. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Staff Assistant (Community Relations) (m/w/d)

What tasks will you be responsible for in particular?

• Assistance with finding temporary accommodations as well as permanent housing and support with lease agreements

• Accompaniment during apartment and house viewings, registration/deregistration and visits to government offices

• Assistance with finding daycare and schools, banking matters etc.

• Support with insurance matters, with electricity and internet providers or registering and deregistering vehicles

• Assistance with applying for government benefits, e.g., child benefit applications

• Support services for JSEC events

• Planning, preparation, and implementation of individual “Morale and Welfare” initiatives

• Assist in Civilian check-in and check-out procedures for JSEC personnel and their dependents

What should you bring with you?

• Secondary or equivalent education and vocational training in office administration or comparable.

• Proven job related knowledge acquired through at least one year job related experience

• Good appearance and a natural manner with people

• Driving license equivalent to European class B

• Experienced in using MS Office.

• Good written and oral communication skills in English and German.

• You can provide evidence of a current Sicherheitsüberprüfung (SÜ2) security clearance, or you must be willing to participate in an extended security clearance process in accordance with the Security Clearance Act. Successful completion of the security clearance is mandatory to take up duty for the advertised position.

• Citizenship from one of the 32 NATO member countries.
