We are a specialised publishing house for matters of foreign trade. Our company is a leading European information service and data content provider for global trade data.
Our publications are available in classic formats and different electronic ones. We also run our own specialised Internet portal. Moreover, specialised information is also offered as data content compliant to different interfaces, e.g. for SAP.

For our IT department we are looking for reinforcement. You will be responsible for programming various, mostly web-service based interfaces towards leading trade systems, like SAP, Oracle, and others.

Besides broad and sound knowledge of information technology and excellent analytical skills you have the ability to work independently and well structured.

You do have competent knowledge and experience in SQL databases, XML, XSLT and HTML. Moreover, you have also gathered practical experience in programming using an object oriented language (Java or PHP). You are willing to learn new technologies and you are able to select and use a technology appropriate to the problem situation.
An excellent of command of English both oral and written is mandatory, a good command of the German language is advantageous.

Please note that this position cannot be performed remotely. It is an on-site job at our headquarters in Bochum.
