For a leading international chemical production site in Antwerp with more than 1,000 employees, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen the EMR Engineering team.
Your Responsibilities

You will take full electrical responsibility for assigned chemical production units – ranging from smaller optimizations to major modernization projects and even greenfield investments with multi-million budgets.

• Designing and calculating new electrical installations and modifications (including cable calculations)
• Acting as technical contact for production management and workshop teams
• Handling complex troubleshooting beyond standard operational scope
• Monitoring periodic inspections and certifications (e.g. electrical / Ex)
• Managing lifecycle topics, standardization, and documentation
• Developing into a site-wide subject matter expert in a key electrical discipline

This role combines engineering depth with hands-on plant presence – you will not only work from the office but also directly within the production facilities.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• Several years of experience in an industrial / technical environment
• Strong analytical mindset and structured, project-driven working style
• Excellent command of Dutch (spoken and written)
• Decisive, communicative, and able to connect stakeholders
