Main tasks:
- Respond to and resolve user support requests by phone, email, or in person while providing top-notch service.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software while ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connections.
- Provide user training and support for various software applications to help users maximize their productivity.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support requests and solutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols to protect our systems and data.
Requirements/Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a deskside/on-site support/local IT technician
- In-depth knowledge of installing Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7/Windows 10) and troubleshooting
- In-depth experience in providing Hands & Feet support for network and data center equipment/equipment
- In-depth experience in troubleshooting MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of desktop support, including hardware, software, and networking concepts
- In-depth knowledge of desktops, workstations, notebooks, printers and handhelds
- Good knowledge of supporting iOS and Android devices
- Knowledge of Windows image creation and SCCM deployments.
- Basic knowledge of audio/video equipment and conference room setup
- Create user accounts for Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes, and distribution lists
- Applications for remote desktop connections such as SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting, and native Windows tools Escalations
- Troubleshoot and assist end users with mobile device setup, activation, and performance issues.
- Knowledge of handheld support - Blackberry, Android and iOS
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
