Kiteworks helps organizations securely exchange sensitive data across email, file sharing, APIs, and more. Our platform gives customers control and visibility over how data moves between people, systems, and workflows, ensuring compliance and protection without compromising productivity.
We’re currently expanding our team with a technically flexible, adaptable, and proactive .NET Engineer to work on the Zivver Outlook plugin, as well as the Kiteworks Outlook plugin, a widely used solution for secure communication. You’ll work with a classic .NET 4.8 stack using C# 8, deeply integrated with Microsoft Office, connecting to Zivver back-end. Your time will primarily be dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the Zivver Office plugin, with a secondary, yet strategic and long-term focus on integrating Zivver features such as real-time Human Error Prevention into the Kiteworks platform.
What you‘ll do
- Maintain the performance of the Zivver Outlook plugin
- Contribute to the integration of secure communication features into a widely used desktop plugin, helping unify functionality across platforms and improve the user experience for enterprise clients
- Review code, suggest improvements, and collaborate closely with teammates
- Triage issues, solve bugs, and ensure platform stability and usability
- Work with a test framework based on FLAUI and XUnit
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-changing environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a product critical to enterprise data protection.
What you‘ll bring
- Solid experience in C# (.NET)
- Experience with Windows applications and WPF development is a plus
- Strong debugging skills and a creative problem-solving mindset
- Comfort working in complex systems and adapting to evolving requirements
- Preferred formal education, and even cooler, a degree in a Computer Science / Software Engineering field
- You are proactive and speak up from a position of knowledge
- You have a “get-it-done” mentality and are willing to do whatever is necessary to fix issues
- You thrive in a dynamic, autonomous environment and embrace change
- Versatility across programming languages – familiarity with Python or Java is a plus
