The following challenges await you:

• As a (Senior) IT Project Manager, you will be part of our strategic project management team at Heraeus IT.
• You will manage a variety of exciting projects, from strategic initiatives to the implementation of user and customer-centric solutions that generate business value for the Heraeus Operating Companies and Central Functions.
• You will take end-to-end responsibility for project execution, including scope management, timeline definition, resource planning, budget tracking and project governance.
• You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including business experts, IT business partners, IT experts, and external vendors.
• You will apply state-of-the-art project management methods and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management practices at Heraeus.
• Close business engagement and target group-oriented communication will be key to your success, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective project execution.

Your Profile:

• You bring in 5+ years of work experience in IT project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• You have a university degree (or equivalent education) in the field of economics or IT.
• You are experienced in managing programs/projects in a challenging environment and have a good knowledge of classic and agile project methods.
• You have a proven ability to work cross-team and manage multiple stakeholder needs/expectations.
• You quickly understand and analyze new demands and challenges.
• You have international experience and a high level of intercultural awareness.
• You have a solid general IT understanding and can form sound technical judgments when engaging with experts and assessing project complexity.
• You have a profound economic and commercial understanding.
• You are a business-minded IT professional with a strong understanding of how IT can drive business value.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in German is a plus.
