Optics & Photonics Test Technician (m/f/d) – Electronics / Measurement

Overview

Keysight is a global leader in electronic measurement solutions, supporting innovation across communications, automotive, aerospace, and semiconductor industries.

We are looking for a hands-on Optik & Photonik Test Techniker (m/f/d) to support testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and optical measurement systems. This role is based in a lab and manufacturing environment, working closely with engineering and production teams.

 You will contribute to the validation of prototypes and early-stage products, ensuring quality, reliability, and smooth transition into production.

Responsibilities

What you will do

Testing & Measurement

• Perform electrical and optical measurements on prototypes and products
• Set up and operate test equipment and measurement systems

Troubleshooting & Validation

• Identify and troubleshoot issues on electronic and optical components
• Support validation of prototypes and small series builds

Collaboration

• Work closely with engineers during testing and New Product Introduction (NPI)

Quality & Documentation

• Document test results and ensure repeatability and quality standards

Production Support

• Support production teams and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

Required:

• Technical background (Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Technician or similar)
• Hands-on experience in testing, measurement, or electronics assembly
• Basic knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting
• Practical, hands-on mindset and problem-solving approach

Nice to have:

• Experience with optical systems, photonics, or laser technology
• Experience with RF or high-frequency measurements

Languages:

• German or English (mandatory)
