We are partnering with a fast-growing European startup that is building the largest marketplace for refurbished e-bikes globally. Having refurbished over 100,000 e-bikes in just a few years, the company is expanding rapidly and is now looking for a Senior E-Bike Mechanic to join its refurbishment centre in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will work exclusively with e-bikes in a modern workshop environment, restoring a wide range of models to excellent condition and ensuring consistently high quality standards.

Your Role

• Managing the entire refurbishment and repair cycle of e-bikes, from initial inspection and fault diagnosis to spare parts selection and repair execution
• Acting as a technical authority, determining the appropriate scope of repairs based on expertise and quality requirements
• Performing detailed quality controls to ensure all refurbished e-bikes meet high standards before delivery
• Contributing advanced technical knowledge in e-bike hardware and software systems
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair processes and overall product quality
• Collaborating closely with the workshop team and contributing ideas to improve workflows and efficiency

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience as an e-bike mechanic, bicycle mechanic, two-wheel mechanic, mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, or in a comparable technical field
• Completed vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline is an advantage; experienced career changers with strong technical expertise are also welcome
• Highly organized, precise, and comfortable working independently
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch
