Ihre Aufgaben: You will lead research activities at the interface of tumor immunology and translational systems oncology, aimed at a mechanistic understanding of spatial immune-instructive programs in pancreatic cancer.

• Perform and coordinate spatial and single-cell multi-omics analyses of human tissue samples
• Integrate transcriptomic, proteomic, and imaging-based datasets to identify functional cell states and regulatory networks
• Develop and apply patient-derived organoid, co-culture, and fragment culture models
• Collaborate closely with computational and clinical collaboration partners
• Supervise research students and contribute to project coordination
• Prepare manuscripts and present results at international conferences
• Contribute to translational development of treatment strategies

Ihr Profil: We seek an independent and motivated scientist with strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Required:

• PhD in medical biology, molecular biology or a related field
• Strong background in tumor biology
• Experience with cell culture and complex model systems (organoids, primary cultures, patient-derived tissue fragments)
• Experience with or strong interest in spatial, single-cell, or multi-omics technologies
• Interest in interdisciplinary translational research
• Independent problem-solving skills and scientific creativity
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Very good English (written and spoken)

Desirable:

• Experience in tumor microenvironment research
• Knowledge of computational biology or image analysis
• Experience supervising students
