Task and responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager and Application Manager in planning, developing, implementing and following up on software-specific quality assurance activities within IT projects and change initiatives
• Perform quality assurance reviews of project documentation to ensure compliance with defined quality standards, internal guidelines and applicable quality requirements
• Ensure that software tests are properly documented, traceable and aligned with quality assurance expectations
• Review, track and support defect management activities, including defect documentation, retesting and closure verification
• Review and approve IT software change documentation, primarily for SAP systems as well as other IT software applications
• Support software validation activities and quality-related measures throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes based on learnings from field issues, test results, change processes and project reviews
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, Application Management, suppliers and other interfaces to ensure high software quality

Knowledge:

• Completed job-related vocational training with strong specialist knowledge in Quality Management, IT Software Validation, Software Quality Assurance or a comparable field
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, ideally related to Quality Management, IT, Software Development or Project Management, is desirable
• Up to three years of professional experience in a related field, such as Quality Assurance, IT Software Validation, Software Testing, SAP Change Management or a comparable environment
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with quality assurance methods in IT software projects and change processes
• Excellent experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing and Test Automation
• Strong project management knowledge, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, resources, quality, communications, suppliers, stakeholders and team operations
• Experience in reviewing, assessing and approving IT software change documentation, preferably for SAP systems
• Solid understanding of IT software validation methods, processes and documentation requirements
• Very strong written English skills and excellent English reading comprehension, especially for reviewing, assessing and creating technical and quality-related documentation
• Basic German language skills are desirable
