JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to provide strong financial business partnering to the Sales organization by ensuring transparency, compliance, and high‑quality financial insights across Trade Marketing Investment (TMI) and customer profitability.
You will enable informed commercial decision‑making, safeguard financial integrity, and continuously improve data quality and reporting through system optimization and automation – helping our business grow sustainably and responsibly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Sales Controlling team and ensure effective delivery of finance support to the Sales organization
- Ensure accurate and compliant representation of Trade Marketing Investments (TMI) in SAP, in close collaboration with Customer Teams and Business Operations
- Act as escalation point for complex TMI‑related topics across Sales, Business Operations, and Finance Business Partners
- Control and validate retroactive condition adjustments
- Provide high-quality data and analyses for monthly financial closing activities related to trade investments and customer profitability
- Support annual customer negotiations through financial analyses, insights, and decision support
- Act as first point of contact for internal audit and external auditors for all TMI‑related matters
- Develop, maintain, and automate financial reporting tools and standard reports for the Sales organization
- Design, implement, and continuously improve TMI controlling processes in new system and collaboration environments (e.g. Teams‑based solutions)
- Support the implementation of control frameworks and business changes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economic or a commercial qualification
- 7+ years of professional experience in Finance, Controlling, or Financial Business Partnering
- Strong systems knowledge, including SAP FICO, SAP COPA, Excel (incl. VBA), and MS Office; experience with reporting and planning tools
- Proven experience working in an international and cross‑functional environment (e.g. service providers, project teams, European HQ)
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and information management
- Strong analytical mindset with a high affinity for numbers and data, combined with solid financial business acumen
- Ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner, with a strong service orientation and resilience in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across Sales and Finance
- Fluent English and German skills (written and spoken)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project management experience (e.g. system design, UAT, change management)
- Experience with TMI controlling, trade profitability, or customer value assessments
- Experience in audit interactions or control frameworks
