Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed individual to support our activities in plate production, bulk manufacturing and quality control. This position covers a wide range of tasks along our production process - from manufacturing and control to documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your tasks:
• Coating and processing of microplates using automated pipetting systems (e.g. Minitrack, Plate Mate, etc.), including monitoring, programming and maintenance.
• Production of reagents and buffer solutions (e.g. washing, blocking, stabilizing and standard buffers) for production.
• Manufacture of standards, calibrators, conjugates and enzyme complexes according to specified specifications.
• Adjustment and validation of components using reference batches, proficiency tests (e.g. RfB, DEQAS, INSTAND) and WHO standards (NIBSC).
• Operation of filling and freeze-drying systems.
• Carrying out quality-relevant inspections, such as incoming goods inspections (e.g. antibodies, raw materials, devices), in-process inspections and final releases.
• Implementation of immunological detection procedures, both manual and automated.
• Documentation and evaluation of all data in accordance with the current quality management guidelines (QM) as well as archiving of all relevant results.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as well as execution of internal proficiency tests and trend samples to ensure reproducibility.
• Warehouse management, including monitoring of stocks of raw materials and consumables as well as timely reorders.
• Guidance of supporting staff (e.g. Lebenshilfe employees) and close cooperation with the team leaders in production and QC.
• Substitution within the team in case of absences or high workload.

Requirements:
• Completed vocational training in a scientific field (e.g. CTA, BTA, MTA or equivalent)
• Practical experience in production, laboratory or quality control is an advantage
• Technical understanding of automated systems and laboratory equipment
• Careful, responsible and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility to work
• Good written
• Willingness to work in a regulated environment with high quality standards.
