Our products are widely used in different markets like e-mobility, photovoltaics as well as in additive manufacturing and the electronics industry.
To further strengthen our presence in South Korea and to expand our footprint in key high-tech industries, we are seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our international team. This role requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial professional with a strong technical affinity, capable of working independently, building lasting customer relationships, and successfully driving complex sales processes to closure.
For this exciting opportunity, we are therefore looking to hire a full-time:
Sales Manager – South Korea Region (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS:
- Develop and manage the South Korean market for Laser material processing (OEM market)
- Identify, acquire, and grow customers across laser, semiconductor, display, and precision manufacturing industries
- Build and expand key account relationships while defining and executing sales strategies aligned with our business objectives
- Provide technical sales support and closely coordinate with engineering teams
- Represent the company at exhibitions and customer engagements across South Korea
- Conduct market analysis, identify opportunities, deliver competitive insights, and independently drive regional sales execution
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Optics, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics preferred) or in Business with a strong technical background
- Several years of experience in technical sales, particularly of complex technical products (preferably optics, laser systems, motion systems, or precision components) with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to explain technical specifications and discuss application requirements with engineers
- Solid understanding of laser scanning applications in micromachining, PCB, OLED, and wafer processing
- Established network/experience in the semiconductor, display, or precision manufacturing industries including laser material processing
- Native or fluent (business level) Korean with strong German and English skills, deep understanding of Korean business culture
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 30%) and relocate to work in Wessling, Germany
