About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant Portfolio Management to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. In this role, you will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to support revenue generation by delivering tailored portfolio management solutions to our clients.
You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales process, helping clients translate their business requirements into scalable technical solutions. By combining your financial domain knowledge with technical expertise, you will play a key role in shaping client engagements and demonstrating the value of our solutions.
This position offers the opportunity to work with clients across Europe, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and contribute directly to the success of our portfolio management offering.
As our Pre Sales Consultant, you will:
- Partner with sales teams to understand client needs and design tailored portfolio management solutions
- Lead technical discovery sessions with stakeholders, including developers, quants, traders, and data engineers
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and develop proof-of-concepts to showcase our solutions
- Support RFP and RFI processes by preparing accurate and compelling technical responses
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and smooth handovers
- Act as a bridge between client requirements and internal teams, ensuring solutions are feasible and scalable
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and market data structures
- Stay informed about regulatory and technical developments relevant to portfolio management solutions
Who you are
- You have experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or client-facing role, ideally within financial technology
- You have a strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives
- Ideally, you have experience with portfolio management solutions or related systems
- You have hands-on experience with APIs, data integration, or modern programming concepts
- You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences
- You have a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You are known for your curiosity, resilience, and a strong willingness to learn and grow
- You are fluent in German. If you speak additional languages such as French or Italian that is a big plus
