About the role

As a Product Quality Engineer, you will be expected to step into the game and display your excellent quality mindset to help drive our innovations beyond industry standards

What you will do

• Represent the Quality Management within the development team
• Correlate the SiC failure mechanisms with reliability measures to be implemented into the product quality
• Support the definition and execution of qualification activities for SiC product developments
• Contribute to the implementation of quality procedures and quality standards (Nexperia, JEDEC, AEC, and customer-specific) within projects
• Support the development, review, and verification of final test specifications
• Promote quality awareness and best practices to internal and external stakeholders
• Support customer requests and complaints handling activities
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of quality gaps in the product creation process
• Support the definition of qualification requirements and qualification of manufacturing processes
• Maintain documentation and handle data in analysis tools for Reliability, Yield, FMEA, Customer Requests, and related activities
• Perform analyses to identify root causes of yield loss or production issues and support the implementation of containment and corrective actions
• Prepare initial input for PCNs, support review and release activities, and contribute to follow-up actions

What you will need

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or a similar discipline
• Experience in a similar position is desirable and experienced in wafer fab and assembly processes preferred
• Knowledge in semiconductor physics as well as in semiconductor applications in the SiC domain
• First knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101, AQG 324
• Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments
• Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques
• High-quality mindset and ability to work under pressure
• Fluent spoken and written English skills
• Strong know how in statistical data analysis
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good team player and willingness to travel
• Assertiveness and demonstrated influencing skills
• Open mindset, which welcomes changes and views problems as opportunities
