Our Global Factory Network within Process Automation Business Unit includes 7 Mechatronics and Electronic factories in Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, India and Romania with around 3,000 employees.
We are looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Head of Procurement (f/m/d) for both our factories Karlsruhe & Haguenau.

You will make an impact by:
- Leading the Procurement function for the factories Karlsruhe (Germany) and Haguenau (France), managing 14 direct reports and a total PVO of €290M
- Being part of the Global Procurement Network to support and implement global standards
- Challenging the status quo while closely collaborating with cross-functional partners onsite and within Business Lines to drive global optimization
- Developing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with long-term company goals, financial objectives, and DI Automation global strategy
- Leading the identification and execution of productivity initiatives, negotiating favorable supplier terms and conditions, managing procurement budgets, and increasing productivity contribution
- Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships, ensuring high levels of service, quality, and delivery performance
- Identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and market volatility, while driving resilience through aligned material field strategies, supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management
- Overseeing the development, negotiation, and execution of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements
- Streamlining procurement processes by implementing best practices and driving digital and agile transformation to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing procurement team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration to strengthen business success
- Ensuring full compliance of all procurement activities with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards
This is how you'll win us over
- **Education:** Bachelor's and above degrees in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar qualification; master's degree preferred.
- Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic procurement in different roles including at least one leadership role.
- You demonstrate real leadership characterized by strong communication skills, building network & relationships, open-minded, challenging status-quo and defining the framework for future oriented development
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to manage complex contracts and consistent track record of developing/executing strategic procurement plans.
- You have built successful teams through leadership, coaching - people development and diversity are your passion. You take your team with you through empowerment and leading by example.
- You fulfill the highest ethical standards, act with integrity, respect, and confidentiality.
- You demonstrate agility in your thinking, a growth mindset, and a personal lifelong learning mentality.
