Location: Wülfrath (Germany) / Global Responsibility

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering or comparable technical background combined with strong business acumen
• Proven leadership experience in international manufacturing environments, preferably within the automotive industry
• Extensive experience in serial production, operational excellence and scaling manufacturing organizations
• Strategic mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
• Excellent leadership, communication and change-management skills 
• High degree of international mobility and willingness to travel extensively 
• Willingness to spend more than 50% of working time at international production sites 
• Fluent English; German is an advantage

Your Mission

As Head of Global Operations, you will lead the operational performance and strategic development of GOTEC's international production network. Your mission is to ensure operational excellence, increase efficiency and scalability, and drive automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across all sites.

This position requires a strong presence within our global operations. By spending significant time at our international production facilities, you will work closely with local management teams, support operational improvements directly on the shop floor, and ensure the consistent implementation of global standards and best practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Operations Managers across all production sites
• Establishment of clear governance structures and performance standards
• Strong physical presence at production sites with hands-on shopfloor engagement
• Definition and implementation of global KPIs and reporting systems
• Active support of investment planning and business cases
• Establishment and leadership of a central Continuous Improvement organization
• Standardization of processes, work instructions and best practices
• Driving automation and digital transformation initiatives across all sites
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration
