Senior Project Manager - Commercial

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing transformation initiatives to drive efficiency gains, top line revenues growth, cost savings and integration activities across UI Group. In this role you will be responsible for project management, stakeholder management and integration activities. You will lead a Group-wide initiative to standardise all customer contracts under a unified global framework, ensuring consistency in commercial terms, governance, and risk management.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Project Management activities:

• Manage UI Group transformation initiative to develop and implement of a standardized commercial contract framework across the Group.
• Setup governance of project (incl. scope, deliverables, milestones, timeline, risks & issues, KPIs, business case).
• Drive the transition from legacy agreements to the new contractual framework, ensuring careful management of longstanding relationships and commercial sensitivities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
• Oversee the redesign and implementation of aligned processes to support the new contract model, ensuring accurate and appropriate service charging.
• Partner with DACH and International teams to lead and deliver a structured change program, achieving full implementation within an established timeframe.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive analytics and fact-based analysis of the situation.
• Enforce proper level of challenge and granularity in thinking.
• Prepare senior management decision papers and updates.

Stakeholder management activities:

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between project workstream leads, key functional/disciplinary stakeholders, C-Suite executives, and team members.
• Drive reporting at various relevant UI management forums, align outcome and synthesize findings for Shareholders and the Investment Board.
• Keep key stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the transformation process.
• Ensure coordination and scheduling of meetings.

Integration activities:

• Support integration initiatives in the context of past or future acquisitions and mergers.
• Ensure standardization of processes and governance.

Your skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in business administration, fFinance, legal, commercial or related field.
• Experience of at least 10 years in a leading project, preferably in multinational environment.
• Experience of at least 5 years in an operational role with cost center, sales, functional, or P&L responsibility.
• Proven Project Manager skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Previous experience in leading legal frameworks of commercial agreements.
• Demonstrated successful experience in managing complex transformational projects required.
• Proven track record of project execution and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong attention to details.
• Willingness to drive analysis at a very granular level.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong reporting and ppt/xls capabilities.
• Strong ability to deep dive into content and synthesis findings.
• Fluent English Speaker.
• Command of German highly recommended.
