Your Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on, execution-focused procurement operations role. The position is centered on day-to-day transactional procurement activities, including RFQs, purchase order processing, supplier follow-up, vendor master requests, procurement tickets, and work in SAP or comparable procurement systems.

The role does not include ownership of category strategies, lead negotiations, strategic sourcing programs, or responsibility for developing procurement strategies. It is particularly suited to professionals who enjoy working directly in operational procurement processes and want to remain close to daily execution.

• Execute day-to-day procurement transactions for direct and indirect materials, aerospace parts, general goods, and services
• Create, release, amend, and maintain purchase orders, including uplift requests and contract-related price changes
• Conduct standardized RFQ processes based on defined requirements and specifications
• Communicate directly with suppliers regarding quotations, documentation, order confirmations, delivery dates, and open requirements
• Track purchase orders, receipts, documentation, and supplier responses and follow up proactively on outstanding items
• Execute NDAs and maintain accurate procurement and supplier information in web-based systems
• Coordinate new vendor creation and vendor master changes with the Global Vendor Master team, including extensions, blocking, and unblocking
• Process procurement and sourcing-related tickets and provide timely status updates to internal users
• Ensure agreed service levels, processing times, and quality standards are met
• Enable strategic procurement teams through accurate and timely operational execution
• Identify opportunities to improve transactional processes, data quality, and operational efficiency

Your Profile:

• Several years of recent, hands-on experience in operational procurement, transactional buying, procurement operations, supplier coordination, supply chain operations, or a procurement shared service environment
• Demonstrable experience personally creating and amending purchase orders, processing RFQs, following up with suppliers, and maintaining vendor master data
• Practical experience with SAP, iValua, Coupa, or a comparable procurement system
• Experience working with high volumes of standardized and repeatable procurement transactions
• Strong accuracy, prioritization skills, and attention to detail
• Ability and motivation to work in an execution-focused position without ownership of category strategies or lead negotiations
• Strong customer service mindset and experience working with internal procurement users
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work effectively across different cultures, business environments, and standardized global processes
