Ihre Aufgaben:

• Design, implement, operate, and continuously enhance the DYNAMO Research Data Management (RDM) platform and integrate it with the Smart Hospital Information Platform (SHIP).
• Develop, maintain, and operate data integration and ETL pipelines to transform anonymized clinical and experimental data into an HL7 FHIR-based data model.
• Implement and maintain the DYNAMO Core Dataset, including data modeling, metadata management, and dataset versioning in accordance with FAIR data principles.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources (e.g., routine clinical data, omics, imaging, and preclinical data) and manage large binary data objects using S3-compatible object storage.
• Develop and provide interoperable interfaces and services for consortium-wide data access, data exchange, and programmatic use (e.g., HL7 FHIR, APIs).
• Ensure data quality, consistency, provenance, and comprehensive documentation of data processing workflows.
• Coordinate consortium-wide workflows related to data provisioning, data access requests, and research data management.
• Support research projects with data access, cohort identification, and exploratory analysis of multimodal datasets.
• Advise and train researchers and PhD candidates on research data management, data standards, and reproducible data analysis practices.
• Contribute to the development of modern search, analytics, and visualization solutions for clinical and multimodal research data (e.g., interactive dashboards, semantic search, and AI-assisted data exploration).

Ihr Profil:

• Master's degree in (Medical) Informatics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Research Data Management (RDM), preferably in a clinical, biomedical, or translational research environment.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with additional programming languages such as Rust or Java is a plus.
• Experience with modern software engineering and DevOps practices, including Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and storage technologies, including relational databases, S3-compatible object storage, and search or analytics platforms.
• Experience with data protection, pseudonymization/de-identification, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, Broad Consent).
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively at the interface between clinical practice, IT, and biomedical research.
