Associate Transaction Manager within the Data Centre Supply Solutions (DCSS) team will work with various stakeholder groups to procure data center capacity, support long-term scaling strategies for AWS's infrastructure regions, and manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure agreements. The Associate Transaction Manager will manage all areas of transaction deal flow related to data center procurement projects in the region, for both Colocation and Real Estate.
This person will need to be a strategically oriented individual with strong communication skills who can work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment on when to escalate.
About the Team
The DCSS team supports AWS by planning and executing long-term scaling strategies for AWS's global data center network. As an Associate Transaction Manager, you will work closely with senior Transaction Managers to develop and execute contractual agreements with key infrastructure vendors, assist in the development of the business case for investment, and support the development, presentation, approval and tracking of long-term infrastructure scaling strategies.

This position involves direct contact with senior leaders within the DCSS and Data Centre Planning and Development team as well as key vendors. You must have a professional demeanour and be able to communicate effectively with people at every level, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare transaction business cases, forecast project costs, and partner with internal teams to submit business cases for leadership review
- Assist with site selection process, strategy development, and data analysis across the region
- Manage stakeholder engagement from initial due diligence to contract review and execution, including management of all milestones to track contract execution and delivery from stakeholders
- Support development of Master Telecommunications Service Agreements, Work Orders, Lease Agreements, and other contractual documents
- Ensure data integrity in supply planning and execution systems related to infrastructure supply options including cost, capacity, key dates, and contractual terms
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting on transaction milestones, project status, and key decision points
- Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency, team effectiveness, and new value-added activities
- Develop deep expertise in data center procurement, infrastructure planning, and commercial contract management
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years experience in commercial real estate, project/program management, procurement, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excel, SQL, or similar tools)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environmen
