Service Line Sales Specialist – Cyber Security (f/d/m)
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
About the role
As a Service Line Sales Specialist - Cyber Security, you will make an impact by driving revenue growth and expanding Cognizant's Cyber Security business across Germany. You will partner with industry sales teams, account executives, solution architects, and delivery leaders to identify opportunities, shape innovative cybersecurity solutions, and help clients secure their digital estates through consulting, professional services, and managed security offerings.
You will be a valued member of the Cyber Security Service Line team and work collaboratively with sales, consulting, delivery, and technology alliance partners to deliver business outcomes for our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Drive cybersecurity business growth and pipeline generation in partnership with sales leadership and account teams.
- Enable and educate sales teams on Cognizant's cybersecurity solutions, services, and value propositions.
- Identify, qualify, shape, and close cybersecurity opportunities across existing and prospective client accounts.
- Develop compelling solutions and commercial models for managed security services, consulting engagements, and transformation programmes.
- Collaborate with global delivery and offshore teams to design and deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions.
- Articulate cybersecurity value propositions to business and technical stakeholders as part of large managed services, outsourcing, and standalone engagements.
- Engage proactively with client security leaders and executives to discuss emerging threats, industry trends, and security strategies.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders and support strategic account growth.
- Travel as required to support clients, business development activities, and market engagement.
Work model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring regular attendance at a client site or Cognizant office in Germany.

What you need to have to be considered
- Experience in enterprise technology sales, solution sales, delivery management, programme management, or technical solution-led business development.
- Experience selling or delivering Security Consulting, Security Professional Services, and Managed Security Services.
- Strong cybersecurity and information security technology background.
- Experience in pre-sales, solution development, proposal management, and client relationship management.
- Ability to manage and influence complex opportunities involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with leading cybersecurity technology providers such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, or similar vendors.
- Experience preparing proposals, presentations, statements of work, commercial models, pricing strategies, and effort estimations.
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity domains including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Threat Management, Security Operations Centres (SOC), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Risk Services.
- Practical knowledge of SIEM, network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and identity technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and business value propositions to executive and business stakeholders.
- Experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior client leadership within large enterprise organisations.
- Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrixed global organisation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience supporting large-scale cybersecurity transformation programmes.
- Experience working within a global systems integrator, technology consulting, or managed services environment.
- Understanding of European cybersecurity regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Established relationships within the German cybersecurity market.
