Technical Service Engineer – European Region 

(full-time, m/f/d)

Location: Mörfelden-Walldorf, Germany (near Frankfurt am Main)

Reporting to: European Service Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to join our local service team in Germany and work closely with the European service organization.

Reporting to the European Service Manager, you will receive comprehensive onboarding training and ongoing business guidance to help you quickly gain an understanding of our products, customer service processes, and internal systems, enabling you to successfully integrate into the team and take ownership of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation, troubleshooting and solution support to customers and partners via phone, email, instant messaging and remote diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and resolve LED display hardware and software issues remotely and on-site. Prepare detailed fault analysis and service reports.
• Act as the technical point of contact for end customers, system integrators and channel partners across Europe, handling technical inquiries, service requests and escalations.
• Travel across Europe to customer sites as required to provide installation guidance, commissioning, maintenance and repair support, ensuring successful project acceptance and delivery.
• Provide technical training to customers and partners on product operation, routine maintenance, system commissioning, troubleshooting and LED module repair.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and contribute to continuous improvements in service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualification

• Technical education or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree or above is a plus.
• Relevant professional experience in technical service, field service, or a related technical role. Experience in the LED display or AV industry is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English required; German proficiency is a plus, with Chinese proficiency also considered an advantage.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe, approximately 50%–70%, and ability to work independently on customer-facing on-site assignments.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of working with a structured and systematic approach.
