For our location in Zeuthen we are seeking:

Postdoctoral research associate in theoretical particle physics

Remuneration Group 13 | Limited: 2 + 1 years | Start: Fall 2027 | ID: APPO002/2026 | Deadline: 20.12.2026 | Full-time/Part-time | Remote work possible

The Zeuthen Particle Physics Theory group has a broad research program in theoretical particle physics. The focuses of the group are perturbative and non-perturbative calculations in the standard model as well as lattice field theory.

Current staff members are J. Green, P. Marquard, S. Schaefer, and H. Simma.

About your role:

Research in theoretical particle physics, in particular:

  • Lattice gauge theory

About you:

  • PhD in theoretical particle physics or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in lattice quantum field theory computations
