Your profile

• Enrolled Student: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Economics, or a related STEM/quantitative field at an accredited university.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional structured problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ease with complex quantitative problems.
• Critical Mindset: You don’t simply take things at face value. You are comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and digging into the "why" behind the numbers.
• Communication: Fluency in English (spoken and written); German proficiency is an advantage.
• Initiative & Ownership: A self-starter mindset who thrives in an entrepreneurial boutique setup and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
• Bonus Points: Prior practical experience (internships, student jobs, or relevant academic projects) in data analytics, consulting, energy markets, or digital transformation.

Your duties and responsibilities

• Quantitative & Market Analysis: Build models, analyse complex datasets, and generate actionable insights for energy trading, risk management, and market forecasting.
• Renewable Energy & Commercial Strategy: Support client engagements across energy transition topics—including flexibility marketing, battery storage valuation, and commercial operating models.
• Digital & Operating Model Transformation: Collaborate on agile transformation projects, applying modern data workflows, product management frameworks, and AI tooling.
• Direct Client & Project Exposure: Work directly with senior consultants on deliverables, preparing structured executive presentations, storyline frameworks, and client workshops.
