On behalf of our client, a globally leading automotive technology company, we are looking for a Homologation Test Engineer (m/f/d) at the Kronach location.

Responsibilities

• Test campaign management for projects with global scope
• Planning test material and samples for all the certification related test activities
• Preparation of test tools, including scripting SW (ie Python, CAPL), wiring harnesses, material procurement
• Certification pretest (test setup validation before starting at remote lab)
• Remote and onsite support on official homologation tests at certification labs
• Preparation of test instructions for certification labs in English

Your qualifications

• Fluency in English language
• Electronics HW and SW with hands on capabilities
• Product documentation understanding (ie Schematic, BOM, PN, and related tools (ie SEM)
• Electronic boards/harnesses rework (ie soldering/desoldering/substituting components)
• Lab instrumentation usage (ie oscilloscope, mobile network and GNSS simulator, spectrum analyzer)
• Testing flow concepts (test plan, Jira tickets, remote logging)
• Car Diagnostics concepts (coding, CAN simulation, CTCs, other)
• Problem solving skills
• Continuous improvement attitude
• Supplier management experience
• Excellent autonomy and teamwork
• Python, CAPL, or other scripting/programming languages are a plus
• Customer Interfacing capability are a plus
