Our team at the BMW Group IT brings the latest Data Science and Generative AI technologies to the BMW Group. We explore new applications for Data Science and Generative AI and develop industrial use cases across all divisions. By contributing new features and tools to our central AI platform, we help drive digital transformation. During your internship, you will support our international AI team and gain hands-on experience in developing and industrializing data science and machine learning solutions.

What awaits you?

• You will support our professional and international AI team in daily activities.
• Furthermore, you help to develop data science and machine learning applications for IT and business use cases.
• In addition, you actively participate in business-relevant projects and contribute your ideas throughout various project phases.
• Moreover, you will help to carry out proof-of-concepts and support their transition into industrial applications.
• You will assist in collaborating with business units, IT teams, and IT hubs to develop innovative solutions.
• Furthermore, you utilize tools such as DataRobot and internal machine learning environments to achieve optimal results.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, data science or a related technical field.
• Coding experience in Python, including Pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with various machine learning methods such as supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is advantageous.
• Software engineering skills from previous experience, coding competitions or projects.
• Onsite presence in Munich is required.
• Fluent English skills.
