Our software tools enable companies around the world to develop new and highly innovative electronic products faster and more cost-effectively. Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics in order to deliver better productsinthe increasingly complex world of chip, board and system design. We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative Application Engineering Consultant to be a part of the European Calibre Foundry/Semi Manufacturing Solution team. You will be part of a high-performing Application Engineering team responsible for designing,developing, and debugging Calibre based OPC/RET solutions for our customers. As application engineers, we build a “trusted advisor” relationship with our customers to help them solve their technical challenges using Calibre.
You will engage with existing customers driving the adoption of Calibre tools. You wil lbe engaging with potential customers, leading evaluations ofCalibretools and providing technical leadership in the sales process. You will be teaming up with the Calibre product & RnD teams to deploy that latest computational lithography technology. You will be based in Dresden Germany supporting local customers with the opportunity to work with customers across Europe,North America and Asia. Our application engineering team is a creative,dynamic, and a highly productive small team environment.
Responsibilities- A subject matter expert in Computational Lithography (OPC/RET), oriented to problem solving at our customers.- Developing solutions with the factory to solve challenges arising in computational lithography, OPC modeling, advanced mask correction and fab defect inspection and review fields.- Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and training on CalibreOPC/RET/MPC Platforms to new and existing customers- Driving the adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibre products in the design to mask flow.- Travel to customer sites in Europe,North America and Asia will be required.

Qualifications- Education: M.Sc./M. ENG or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, physics, EE or a related field - or equivalent- 5+ years industry experience (or equivalent) in semiconductor industry, knowledge in OPC/Computational-Lithography, advanced mask, IC design tools required or defect inspection flows- Intermediate programming skills with languages such as python, tcl or C/C++ required- Experience in Linux/Unix environments required with familiarity with script languages- Strong knowledge and background in modeling and simulation for optics, electromagnetic waves, or photoresist- Direct experience in Siemens CalibreOPC/RET Platform is strongly preferred but not required.- Self-motivated and enthusiastically focused on problemsolving.- Strong technical and written communication skills
