Work Your Magic with us!

Ready to explore, break barriers, and discover more? We know you’ve got big plans – so do we! Our colleagues across the globe love innovating with science and technology to enrich people’s lives with our solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Together, we dream big and are passionate about caring for our rich mix of people, customers, patients, and planet. That's why we are always looking for curious minds that see themselves imagining the unimaginable with us.

Your role:

Our Life Science business is undertaking a multi-year transformation of its supply chain planning by deploying SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) as the core Advanced Planning Solution (APS) across its global operations. The Business Process Expert (BPE) for SAP IBP Demand Planning is responsible for overseeing the complete design, standardization, and deployment of demand planning processes within the IBP platform. This role facilitates the transition of planners from legacy systems to modern, AI/ML-enabled demand planning solutions, incorporating capabilities such as integrated forecasting, demand sensing, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). The BPE will collaborate with business stakeholders, manage Signavio process modeling, ensure strong data governance, and lead change management initiatives to achieve tangible improvements in forecast accuracy, service levels, and planning agility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Leadership: Define vision, roadmap, governance, and operating model for global demand planning in SAP IBP, ensuring alignment across Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and IT. Manage risks and collaborate with the PMO on timelines and corrective actions.

  • Solution Design: Architect demand planning features—forecasting, demand sensing, lifecycle/promotional planning, consensus demand, and S&OP handover. Design relevant data models, key figures, user roles, and workflows.

  • Process Modeling: Develop and maintain demand planning process templates in Signavio (BPMN, RACI, controls) as the global standard.

  • Data & Integration: Support master data and system integration requirements. Establish data quality, governance frameworks, and monitor KPIs like forecast accuracy and bias.

  • Change Management: Lead training, enablement, super-user networks, and transition from legacy or spreadsheet planning to standardized IBP workflows.

  • Testing & Validation: Oversee fit-gap analysis, system and user acceptance testing, and defect resolution in collaboration with demand planners.

  • Value Realization: Track planning KPIs, establish baselines, and support scenario planning to address demand volatility.

  • Compliance & Deployment: Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, audit, and continuity standards. Plan and execute efficient rollout for early value delivery.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain, Industrial Operations, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in demand planning or S&OP, including at least 2–3 years as a BPE or Process Owner on SAP IBP Demand implementations.
  • Proven track record in delivering demand planning processes within life sciences or complex, multi-site environments.
  • Hands-on experience in transitioning from legacy planning solutions to SAP IBP or equivalent APS platforms, such as Blue Yonder.
  • Expertise in Demand planning.
  • Expertise in process modeling (Signavio), agile delivery methodologies, stakeholder facilitation, and change leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in data quality, KPI management, scenario modeling, and forecast performance tracking.
  • Extensive knowledge of demand planning, encompassing forecasting, sensing, lifecycle management, promotions, and S&OP integration.
  • Experience with ERP data integration, master data governance, and cloud data platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to standardize processes using BPM tools like Signavio.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP IBP
  • SAP Signavio Process Manager or BPMN certification
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP or IBF Demand Planning certification
