Your role:
Our Life Science business is seeking a Business Process Expert (BPE) for SAP IBP Supply Network Planning to lead the design, standardization, and global rollout of supply network processes, including RCCP. The role drives transformation from legacy planning systems to an AI/ML-enabled multi-echelon network planning environment. The BPE will design supply chain network structures, sourcing and logistics models, and inventory optimization strategies that translate demand forecasts into optimized supply plans. Deep expertise in SAP IBP, Signavio process modeling, and change leadership is essential to enable cross-functional adoption of standardized, data-driven workflows across Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Leadership & Governance:
Define vision, roadmap, operating model, and governance for global supply network planning. Manage risks, standardize processes across regions, align stakeholders, and collaborate with PMO on project execution and corrective actions. Establish KPIs for service levels, inventory turns, and transportation efficiency.Solution Architecture & Design:
Architect core supply network features including location hierarchies, sourcing lanes, allocation rules, and safety stock policies. Model inventory strategies aligned with forecasts and service targets. Support configuration of network planning in SAP IBP, including RCCP and scenario planning.Process Modeling & Documentation:
Develop and maintain Signavio BPMN process models and RACI matrices for end-to-end network planning workflows. Document inputs, controls, decision gates, and governance checkpoints. Drive consistency between Signavio models and SAP IBP processes. Facilitate super-user workshops and continuous process improvement.Data Integration & Governance:
Define master data requirements and integrate SAP ERP and demand planning key figures with supply network planning. Implement frameworks for data quality, validation, lineage, and KPI tracking. Collaborate to connect IBP NP with short-term scheduling and ATP.Testing, Validation & Cutover:
Lead fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and test management for integration, user acceptance, and validation testing. Engage super-users in testing and defect resolution. Ensure accurate network modeling and cutover readiness.Change Management & Adoption:
Build networks of process owners, planners, and super-users globally. Deliver role-based training and enablement. Foster communities of practice and stakeholder engagement to drive sustained adoption and process ownership.Value Realization & Compliance:
Establish baseline and post-implementation metrics for cost, service, inventory, and transportation. Implement planning dashboards and alerts. Support scenario planning to mitigate supply risks. Ensure adherence to privacy, security, audit, and business continuity standards. Track ROI and value creation.Deployment:
Develop and align rollout plans for efficient, early value delivery across business units and regions.
Who you are:
- 5–8 years of experience in demand planning or S&OP, including at least 2–3 years as a BPE or Process Owner on SAP IBP Demand implementations.
- Proven track record in delivering demand planning processes within life sciences or complex, multi-site environments.
- Hands-on experience in transitioning from legacy planning solutions to SAP IBP or equivalent APS platforms, such as Blue Yonder.
- Expertise in process modeling (Signavio), agile delivery methodologies, stakeholder facilitation, and change leadership.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in data quality, KPI management, scenario modeling, and forecast performance tracking.
- Extensive knowledge of demand planning, encompassing forecasting, sensing, lifecycle management, promotions, and S&OP integration.
- Experience with ERP data integration, master data governance, and cloud data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to standardize processes using BPM tools like Signavio.
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP IBP
- SAP Signavio Process Manager or BPMN certification
- APICS CPIM/CSCP or IBF Demand Planning certification Expertise in process modeling (Signavio), agile delivery methodologies, stakeholder facilitation, and change leadership.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in data quality, KPI management, scenario modeling, and forecast performance tracking.
- Proven effective executive communication and influence across different functions and regions.
- Strong influence without formal authority across different functions, regions, and organizational hierarchies
