Stellenbeschreibung

The Global Category Merchandise Manager (f/m/d) strengthens global decision-making by consolidating cross-market data and translating it into actionable insights. Rather than traditional merchandising tasks like allocation, the role focuses on financial and performance analysis, building a structured global view and driving alignment between global and local teams through clear processes and communication routines.

Together we set tomorrow’s standards – your task
  • Process Excellence: Build and continuously improve cross-market routines for data sharing, reporting and collaboration
  • Cross-Category Alignment: Coordinate activities across multiple categories and ensure global direction translates into local execution
  • Performance Analytics: Consolidate and analyze market data (stock, category/brand/supplier/SKU, store/cluster/region performance)
  • Insight to Action: Translate complex datasets into clear recommendations for planning, target setting and performance reviews
  • Stock Risk Management: Monitor global stock positions, flag overstock/shortages early and drive action plans with local and HQ teams
  • Order Execution: Consolidate local orders, support supplier ordering with Disposition and track execution vs. timelines and volumes
You inspire us – your profile
  • Data-Driven Background: Strong experience in analytical/financial roles, ideally in retail, merchandising or category management
  • BI & Tool Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel; confident with large, complex datasets
  • Strategic Storytelling: Ability to turn analysis into structured insights, clear recommendations and decision templates
  • Structured Ownership: Organized, proactive and hands-on in improving processes and driving topics forward
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
We give our best - Your benefits
  • Attractive compensation, including a 13th salary with the option to convert it into additional time off.
  • Annual budget of €1,080 for Fielmann products for you and your family.
  • Employee shares, capital-forming benefits, and numerous additional perks.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work options with up to 60% remote per month, coordinated within your team.
  • Professional and personal development opportunities through the Fielmann Academy at Schloss Plön.
  • A future-proof work environment that combines innovation and growth with a warm, supportive team culture.
