Stellenbeschreibung

  • Responsibility for continuous improvement and transformation of accounting, tax and customs. Targeting compliance, quality improvement, efficiency gains and error reduction

  • Bridging regulations, process and systems to ensure consistent way of working in accounting, tax and customs

  • Responsibility for data & process governance, developing and implementing a KPI framework for the Accounting & Tax function relating to data quality, process efficiency, compliance rate, system stability, degree of automation

  • Building & operating an integrated analytics capability covering accounting, tax (tech) & customs topics

  • Serving as LH Group’s Tax Compliance Management Officer to protect the Executive Board & Senior Management. Development, implementation & monitoring of a groupwide Tax Compliance Management System. Tax Lobbying for regulatory topics of a TCMS with political decision-makers, tax administrations including representation of LH Group in political committees.

  • Responsibility for the Internal Control System (ICS) within Accounting, Tax & Customs together with functional teams

Ihr Profil:

  • University degree [economics, legal] with accounting, tax as core area

  • Certified Tax Advisor, Chartered Accountant, CPA or similar

  • Deep knowledge of economic tax doctrine, accounting regulation as well as legal
    methodology to interpret and analyze the regulations

  • Strong proximity to the subject

  • Minimum of 15 years in tax, accounting business, thereof a minimum of 10 years in
    international corporate set-ups

  • Excellent knowledge of relevant law (tax, accounting), well-grounded knowledge of
    administrative law, company law, national and international commercial law

  • Very good knowledge of the hierarchical composition and the working procedures of tax
    administrations in core countries for  LH-group and on EU-level

  • Focus on decision and implementation

  • Neutrality and objectivity towards companies / business units in terms of solutions.

  • Strong project management skills

  • Experience in handling financial auditors

  • Ideally transformation and/or tax/ accounting technology skills

  • Ideally leadership experience in multinationals with shared service set-up

  • Fluent in German and English
