Internship Mergers & Acquisitions

As an M&A Intern, you'll play a vital role in managing and shaping our projects. You'll collaborate with various departments and external partners to drive successful transactions.

• Gain practical experience by contributing to assigned M&A projects, including due diligence processes, while collaborating with multiple departments and external service providers
• Support and participate in contract negotiations with transaction partners
• Monitor competitor M&A activities on an ongoing basis and build relationships with relevant transaction partners and service providers
• Prepare briefing documents and decision-making materials for stakeholders through targeted and effective presentations
• Conduct company valuations and develop business cases, providing recommendations for the executive board and supporting transaction strategy and structuring activities

Ihr Profil:

We seek candidates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant professional experience. Ideal applicants are skilled in complex problem-solving, and financial methods.

• You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship

• Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a writtenproof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year) in Finance, Strategy or a related field

• Strong problem-solving skills and process reliability

• Proficiency in German and English

• Ability to work precisely

• Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Strong initiative and independence

• Specialized knowledge in financial methods and project experience is beneficial

• Ideally, initial experience in a leading investment bank or consultancy
