Our department is responsible for comprehensive operational material planning, purchasing and systemic material recording, thus ensuring the availability of materials for Lufthansa Airlines' operations.

• Gain practical experience in technical purchasing of aircraft materials and support activities related to pool management
• Assist in the creation and analysis of demand forecasts to support effective material planning and procurement decisions
• Contribute to the design and preparation of presentations, reports, and performance evaluations.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and support the implementation of efficiency improvements
• Support the recording, documentation, and continuous development of operational processes.
• Assist in the creation, analysis, and optimization of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve business performance
• Participating in repair administration activities and supporting pool return management processes

Ihr Profil:

• You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
• Enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and writtenproof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
• Confident handling of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• High degree of initiative, quick comprehension, high willingness to communicate
• High affinity for aviation
