Procurement Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Join the indirect procurement team to handle requirements from R&D and functional departments
• Search and develop suppliers locally and work with other team members and stakeholders to extend the supplier and costing database
• Work together with suppliers and R&D business units on innovative projects to support the development of the next generation of cars
• Execute operational end-to-end purchasing processes (Procure-to-Pay) for indirect materials and services
• Autonomously handle day-to-day requisitions and order placements
• Act as procurement interface with stakeholders and handle supplier issues
• Execute sourcing projects and price negotiations with suppliers
• Operate all procurement systems and ensure compliant order process
• Search and gather best practices and innovation across the industry
• Support the payment process in collaboration with the Finance team
• Other procurement related tasks

Your profile:

• Degree with business or technical focus or comparable qualification
• 1+ years of purchasing experience, automobile industry experience is a plus
• Firm experience with MS Office, SAP is a plus
• Solid negotiation skills
• Affinity to technology and innovation and ability to grasp highly complex technical issues
• Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills
• Ability to collect and analyze data efficiently
• Project management and team-work skills
• Good German and English skills, Chinese is a plus
