Plant Manager (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Disciplinary head of the plant and its respective functions
- Lead, coach and develop the local leadership team and foster a high-performance culture
- Full responsibility for overall plant performance, including cost, quality, delivery, output and profitability targets, by defining, monitoring and continuously improving relevant KPIs and productivity measures
- Drive and continuously develop a strong safety culture (zero accident philosophy) and ensure HSE compliance across the site and all functions
- Establish and further develop lean management, continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness through optimized organizational structures, processes and workflows.
- Ensure effective collaboration across all plant functions as well as with Business Units and Corporate functions
- Ensure effective capacity, resource and capex planning aligned with long-term customer demand
- Drive competitiveness of the plant, including support of customer RFQs and successful project launches
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies and regulatory requirements
- Drive digitalization, automation and innovation initiatives at plant level
Qualifications
- Master degree in engineering, operations or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a plant management role
- Proven track record in managing production and operational processes
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
- Solid financial and business acumen
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Fluent in German and English (mandatory), additional languages are a plus
