Freudenberg Aftermarket (FAM) is a newly established Business Group bringing together aftermarket activities from across the Freudenberg Group into one focused global organization.
We are looking for a finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with accounting expertise, business acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset. In this role, you will help establish the financial reporting and accounting governance foundations that support a growing international business.

Financial Analyst Group Reporting, Consolidation & Accounting Governance (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Drive Financial Transparency: Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely financial reporting across the Business Group while supporting key management and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Support Consolidation & Closing Activities: Contribute to monthly and quarterly consolidation processes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with Group standards.
  • Strengthen Accounting Governance: Coordinate key accounting topics across international entities and support the resolution of complex accounting and audit-related matters.
  • Provide Meaningful Insights: Transform financial data into clear analyses and management information that support sound business decisions.
  • Partner Across the Organization: Collaborate with Finance teams, Shared Services, auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective issue resolution.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve reporting, closing, and governance processes through standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, financial controlling, accounting governance, or corporate finance within an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation principles, financial reporting, month-end closing, provisions, accruals, and balance sheet management.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial topics, challenge assumptions, and deliver high-quality results with accuracy and ownership.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, combined with a solid understanding of business impact.
  • Experience partnering across multiple entities, functions, and stakeholders in an international organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and finance transformation projects.
  • Strong command of Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools; experience with HFM/Hyperion, Power BI, SAP BI, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage.
