As Team Lead Content & Communications, you shape how our stories are told across web, social, and other internal/external channels, leading a high-performing team to deliver impactful, high-quality content.
You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, turning complex topics into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences. Working closely with stakeholders across sectors, DHL Business Units, and DHL CSI, you drive content strategy, ensure consistency, and keep all output on brand and on time.
From overseeing CSI webpages on DHL.com to collaborating with agencies, supporting press and communications, and leading video productions, you play a key role in driving efficiency and creative excellence across our marketing efforts.

What’s your role:
* Team Leadership: Lead the Content & Communications team, managing resources, budget, and output. Ensure high-quality, on-brand delivery and continuously improve processes for efficiency and performance.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact, building strong relationships across Business Units, sectors, and corporate teams, while providing clear and timely updates to senior stakeholders.
* DHL CSI Web-Pages Ownership: Lead all DHL CSI DHL.com initiatives, collaborating with backend teams, driving improvements, and promoting best practices.
* Communications & Storytelling: Shape and deliver compelling internal and external comms content, ensuring clear objectives, strong narratives, and a consistent pipeline of impactful stories.
* Production Oversight: Lead live shoots on-site, ensuring quality, resolving issues, and coaching on-camera talent for best results.
* Agency Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
* Project Management: Oversee end-to-end delivery of the content annual roadmap, proactively removing obstacles and identifying opportunities to improve workflows.
What we’re looking for:
* Professional Experience & Background
+ Extensive experience (8–10 years) in content creation, development, and execution
+ Strong exposure (5–8 years) within global marketing environments, agencies, or comparable international settings
+ Proven ability to operate confidently in regional and global campaign landscapes
* Content Strategy & Creative Excellence
+ Deep expertise in creative content development, from strategy definition to high quality execution
+ Demonstrated success delivering end to end content solutions across digital and traditional channels
+ Ability to present a strong, diverse portfolio showcasing impactful campaign work
* Leadership & Team Development
+ Solid people leadership experience (2–4 years), including team guidance and development
+ Hands on capability in coaching, mentoring, and constructive conflict management
+ Role model leadership style that motivates teams and drives high performance
* Project & Stakeholder Management
+ Excellent project management skills, ideally within agile and fast moving environments
+ Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability in driving projects to completion
+ Skilled in stakeholder management, navigating complex, multi stakeholder setups and aligning diverse perspectives
* Tools, Systems & Functional Know How
+ Proficient with Content Management Systems (CMS) and publishing tools
+ Confident user of Microsoft Office
+ Experience with creative tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a strong plus
+ Additional knowledge of UX/UI design and SEO is an advantage
* Mindset, Skills & Communication
+ Strong critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail
+ Engaging, positive personality with a proactive, solution oriented “can do” mindset
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus
+ High personal standards and a clear commitment to quality and excellence
* Education
+ University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
+ Master’s degree preferred
