As a Senior Consultant, you will take ownership of complex commercial projects, guide clients through critical investment decisions, and actively contribute to the growth of our business. You will operate in a highly international environment and collaborate with experts across the teams of operations, data science, and digitalisation.

What you can expect

  • Lead commercial workstreams or entire projects from concept to delivery
  • Take ownership of transaction advisory mandates (e.g. due diligence, PPP, M&A)
  • Advise clients and manage senior stakeholder interactions/communication
  • Develop and challenge traffic forecasts, financial models, and business cases
  • Drive proposal development and business acquisition activities/Support proposals and business development
  • Mentor junior team membersand contribute to the development of the team
  • Shape HPC’s commercial portfolio through insights and innovation and help HPC grow

What you bring to the table

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in the port and terminal sector, ideally in consulting, operations, or investment environments
  • Proven strong knowledge in market analysis, traffic forecasting, financial planning & analysis, and transactions (e.g. PPP, M&A, Due Diligence)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive impact
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members, clients and stakeholders
  • Fluency in the German and English language, additional languages are a plus
  • Expertise in related fields such as data science, digitalisation, port operations, or civil engineering is a plus
