A Snapshot of Your Day 

Join Siemens Energy as a Product Safety Team Leader and guide a cross-product-line team that helps keep our technologies safe, reliable, and aligned with global standards. You will lead product safety professionals across multiple product lines, strengthen governance, and support a culture built on prevention, learning, and shared ownership. You will coordinate safety cases, escalations, assessments, and reviews with engineering, quality, operations, service, and product management teams. Your work will help protect customers, colleagues, and the environment while supporting safe and sustainable energy systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Lead and support a team of product safety professionals, helping them grow their skills, share knowledge, and work with clarity and accountability.
* Coordinate product safety activities across business segments and product lines, ensuring a consistent approach aligned with Siemens Energy Product Safety Policy.
* Oversee hazard analyses, risk assessments, safety verification, and documentation in line with internal processes, global standards, and regulatory needs.
* Facilitate clear communication across engineering, quality, operations, service, and product management teams during safety cases, reviews, audits, and escalations.
* Drive continuous improvement by using RCA, FMEA, 8D, and digital analytics to improve safety performance, lessons learned, and preventive actions.

What You Bring

* A bachelor’s degree in engineering, product safety, quality, risk, or another related technical field.
* 5+ years of experience in product safety, engineering, quality, or risk management in industrial, energy, or related sectors.
* Proven leadership experience in a team, project, or functional role, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
* Strong knowledge of product safety principles, risk assessment methods, and relevant standards such as ISO 12100, IEC/NEC requirements, machinery safety standards, or industry-specific safety frameworks.
* Experience with structured problem-solving, continuous improvement methods, digital safety tools, or data analytics platforms is a plus.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
