A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Digital Process & Agent Automation Engineer, you will support the digital transformation of the Switchgears Berlin factory by developing scalable and sustainable digital solutions. Your focus will be on process automation using UiPath, Python, and APIs, as well as data integration, analytics, and AI agent technologies. You will translate complex manufacturing requirements into efficient digital processes and structured IT architectures.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

* Design, development, and maintenance of robust automation solutions using UiPath, Python, and API-based integrations
* Implementation and integration of AI technologies and intelligent agent frameworks for advanced cognitive automation
* Refactoring and modularization of existing automation solutions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reduced individual dependencies
* Development of end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and analytics dashboards for seamless factory data integration and operational decision-making
* Analysis of factory workflows and operational requirements as well as identification of high-impact digital transformation opportunities
* Translation of operational requirements into scalable technical solutions and provision of technical guidance and training to factory stakeholders

What You Bring

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
* Professional experience in software development, process automation, or data engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment
* Proven expertise in automation and software engineering, including Python, UiPath/RPA, API integration, software architecture, and code refactoring
* Knowledge of AI and intelligent technologies, including AI agent frameworks, LLM integration, machine learning concepts, and cognitive automation
* Experience in data management and analytics, including ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, database management, data visualization, and business intelligence
* Expertise in requirements engineering, process optimization, and stakeholder management, ideally complemented by relevant UiPath, Python, or Agile certifications
