Einleitung/Über uns
As a Global Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Product Owner, you take full ownership of the product vision, strategy, and delivery for the Marketing & Data Cloud domain within the global Customer Engagement (CRM) ecosystem, leading the technical direction and execution in the new Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.
You act as the primary representative of the product towards countries and market units, ensuring strong alignment between global CRM strategy and local business needs. In this role, you play a key part in enabling a scalable, harmonized, and data-driven customer engagement model across regions.
You work closely with business stakeholders, regional CRM teams, Business Analysts, and IT to translate business needs into prioritized, value-driven capabilities, ensuring that Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud effectively support end-to-end CRM processes, consistent data flows, and a unified customer view.
As Product Owner, you define what and why needs to be delivered, while collaborating with Platform Administrators and technical teams responsible for solution design and implementation. You play a key role in the global CRM initiative, ensuring harmonization across countries and business units, while maintaining alignment with global governance and program objectives, and enabling scalable local adoption.
Ihre Aufgaben
Product Strategy & Roadmap (Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud)
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud within the CRM ecosystem
- Ensure alignment with overall CRM strategy, data strategy, and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize data-driven and AI-enabled use cases (e.g., Customer 360, segmentation, personalization, predictive audiences)
- Drive the evolution towards a data-driven CRM and customer engagement model
- Drive the adoption and scaling of Salesforce Data Cloud within the CRM ecosystem
- Ensure that Data Cloud capabilities contribute to measurable business outcomes and improved customer engagement
- Stay up to date with Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and industry trends, with a focus on Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, AI, and personalization
Demand Management & Prioritization
- Lead workshops, alignment sessions and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, local experts, Business Analysts, and local CRM specialists to identify local requirements
- Evaluate, challenge, and prioritize local demands based on business value, scalability, and strategic fit within the global CRM program
- Act as the decision authority on prioritization within the domain
- Ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready for implementation in collaboration with Business Analysts, IT and business stakeholders
- Evaluate and prioritize demands with a focus on leveraging AI capabilities where applicable, ensuring scalable, value-driven, and future-oriented solutions
Commercial Excellence & Global Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact and representative of the Marketing & Data Cloud product for countries and market units, ensuring strong alignment between global CRM strategy and local business needs
- Collaborate seamlessly across regions, with shared responsibility for all countries and markets in the continuous evolution of Marketing & Data Cloud within the CRM ecosystem
- Drive alignment across platform streams (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Technical Service) to ensure seamless end-to-end CRM processes, consistent data flows, and a unified customer view
- Ensure cross-stream dependencies and initiatives are aligned with CRM strategy and priorities
- Work closely with IT, Commercial Excellence, Digital Transformation, and regional CRM teams to ensure alignment, and support cross-regional CRM initiatives and process optimizations within the wider Customer Engagement ecosystem, including marketing excellence
Delivery Alignment & Program Contribution
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the CRM program by ensuring that the Marketing & Data Cloud domain delivers in line with program objectives and business priorities
- Ensure that program milestones and key deliverables are supported and achieved within the domain scope
- Align backlog priorities, delivery scope, and timelines with CRM program plans and cross-stream dependencies
- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and cross-functional impacts, ensuring timely escalation and alignment
- Provide transparency on progress, risks, and value contribution within CRM program governance
- Support the development of training materials and enablement concepts, and contribute to training sessions where required (e.g., complex journeys, segmentation logic, AI use cases), in close collaboration with the global and local teams
Ihr Profil
- University degree in business administration, economics, or similar field, preferably MBA
- At least 7 years of professional experience preferred in the Pharma/ Life Science industry, preferably in CRM focused and commercial-oriented roles
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Consultant, Product Owner, or Admin are a plus
- Proven track record in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, demonstrating expertise in the platform's capabilities and configuration
- Exposure to or experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) or similar data platforms is a strong plus
- Deep understanding of marketing automation principles, data-driven use cases, including segmentation, activation, and personalization, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud best practices
- Experience in leading technical decisions and projects, with a proven ability to meet business objectives and timelines
- Profound experience as a Marketing Cloud Product Owner is a plus
- Salesforce Admin or Marketing Cloud Admin/Consultant Certification is required; more Salesforce Certifications are preferred such as: Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Field Service Consultant, Agentfore Specialist, or Data Cloud-related certifications
- Independent, process- and result-oriented way of working
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams and market units
- Fluency in the English language is required, any additional languages are an advantage
- Intercultural experience and willingness to travel internationally
